A 28 years old white male Norwwo IV,with receding hair line and thinning hair at the crown. He underwent one session of FUT with 3,750 grafts consisting of 1-hair graft=290 grafts, 2-hairs graft =1,901 grafts, 3-hairs graft =1,025 grafts and 4-hairs graft =534 grafts (10,104 hairs).The hair grafts were placed at the front and crown. The post operative photos were taken at 2 years 2 months after the surgery. He was very please with the result and would like to proceed with more session to add on density. Below are B/A .

This is a 44 years old male who has two areas of thinning hair at the front behind the hair line size 3×3 cm2. Both areas did not increase in size for the past 5 years. He was born with the high forehead. No family member had hair loss problems on both maternal and paternal sides. The patient was seen by a dermatologist and clear for hair transplantation.

He wanted to lower his hair line, restored his temples and filled in both areas of the thinning hair (See the photos). He underwent hair transplantation 2,219 grafts (1-hair follicles = 325 , 2-hair follicles = 1,417 and 3-hair follicles = 453) with the total of 4,614 hairs were transplanted on the entire area as described.

The patient returned 14 months after surgery and very pleased with the result as shown in the photos.

52 years old Asian male Norwood V underwent hair transplantation with the total of 3434 grafts, 2041 grafts at front and 1393 grafts at crown ( 1-hair graft = 340 ,2-hairs graft =2261, 3-hairs graft = 732 , 4- hairs graft = 101, total number of hairs roughly = 7,462. The balding area at front was 50 cm2 and the crown was also 50 cm2

50 years old Asian male has receding hair line and baldness at crown as in Norwood III vertex. The area of concern was 132 cm2.He underwent hair transplantation, 3220 grafts (1-hair graft=558, 2-hairs graft=1957, 3-hairs graft=705) were transplanted. He was seen a year later with satisfactory result and wanted to add on density later.

This is 48 years old white male Norwood V- VI with persistent frontal forelock, he has hair transplant many years ago at other institution. He was seen at DHT clinic and underwent 2 sessions of FUT. The first session 2,995 grafts consist of 1-hair=820 grafts 2- hairs= 2,105 grafts 3-hairs= 70 grafts (5,240 hairs) were transplanted from front to crown. The second session one year later, 2,937 grafts consist of 1-hair= 656 grafts 2-hairs= 2,070 grafts 3-hairs= 211 grafts (5,429 hairs) were transplanted to add on density from front to the crown. A total 5,932 of grafts (10,669 hairs) were transplanted. Below are before and after photos seven- years after the procedure. He was happy with the result.

MM is a 35 years old white male who has hair loss from front to the crown with persistent frontal forelock with good donor hair. He underwent hair transplantation a total of 2,882 grafts were transplanted ( 1-hair=218 , 2-hairs graft=1949, 3-4 hairs graft=363, 4 hair graft=352) about 6,970 hairs , confined to the front.He was seen a year after with good result and planned to return for hair transplantation at crown.

67 years old, white male, who had receding hairline from the front towards the top and thinning over the crown, as in Norwood IV-V, with some hair left at the forelock. His hair is straight, gray but was colored dark brown by the patient, with good density. He underwent Hair Transplantation from front towards the top. A total of 3184 grafts were transplanted (1 hair graft = 395; 2-hairs graft= 1564; 3-hairs grafts= 588; 4-hairs grafts= 637). Grand total of 8153 hairs.

He was seen 8 months post-op and was very pleased with the results, and planned to have the crown filled-in in the future. Below are the pre- and 8-months post-op photos.

A 48 years old Asian male with extensive hair loss from the top towards the crown but has retained his frontal hairline, as in Ludwig III . The balding areas measured approximately 200 square centimeters. He had one session of hair transplant (FUT) done with 558 one-hair grafts, 137 one to two hair- grafts, 1,866 two-hairs graft, 861 three-hairs grafts, and 126 four-hairs graft. The total number of grafts is 3,548 (7,582 hairs). He doesn’t want to take any medication . He returned for the follow up 11 months post op and happy with the result. He plans to return for more sessions at the crown in the near future.
