Chest Hair Transplantation

Those who have chest hair might want to get rid of it. However, for those man (East and South East Asians) who do not have chest hair, do not feel like man, not sexy and enquire some chest hair. There are some Caucasian patients who already have chest hair and want to add on density. The challenge is how to design the distribution of chest hair since the area is very large and require large number of grafts. How to plant with good direction to mimic mother of nature require surgeon expertise. Post-operative care is very important to prevent graft dislodge, irritation from wearing the shirt and chest movement. We use scalp hair since it has high density and harvest either by FUE or FUT, we prefer FUT for large number of grafts since the grafts have better quality. Grafts are placed in tiny incisions and left no scar once it healed. The procedure is done under local anesthesia.
