FUE (Follicular unit extraction)
FUE is a minimally invasive procedure in which the hair follicles are harvested from the donor area one by one at a time using power or manual punch. Our clinic uses the latest state-of-the-art punch in hair transplantation industry which can reduce the transection rate and get high quality of hair grafts. Then, these hair grafts are inspected, trimmed, if needed under microscopes, and placed into tiny incisions made by the surgeon on the recipient area. This technique will not leave a linear scar at the donor area other than numerous tiny white scars according to the number of grafts removed and the recovery time takes a few days in majority. However, we do not recommend to shave the donor area after surgery since the scars will be obviously shown.
